Retirement is becoming a huge concern as statistics and studies conducted by our local banks have shown that most Singaporeans are lagging behind on retirement planning. Recent surveys conducted by Straits Times indicate that the minimum budget to meet the basic standard of living by a single elderly to be $1379 a month and $2351 for couples. This further reinforce the study conducted by the bank on why 4 in 10 people are worried about not accumulating enough money for retirement.
